Site work and paving for a road / highway in Lehi, Utah. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Work to be accomplished under this proposed contract includes: Installation of curb, gutter and sidewalks, ADA ramps, drive approaches, and driveway improvements. Includes removal of existing curb and gutter, sidewalk & storm drain facilities. Includes asphalt saw cutting and new asphalt paving. The Owner requires the Project to be substantially completed by August 19, 2022. All questions relative to this project prior to opening of bids shall be directed to the project engineer: Ken R. Berg, PE of Berg Civil Engineering (801) 616-1677. All BIDDERS are required to have payment and performance bonds underwritten by a Surety Company approved by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. (Circular 570, latest edition). This project is funded (or partially funded) through a Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). The contractor will be required to comply with all federal labor standards and attendant laws, including the payment of the most current Davis-Bacon wages and compliance with Section 3 to provide employment opportunities for lower income persons. Local, minority and woman owned business owners are encouraged to bid. The lowest responsible bidder will be selected.
