The Town of Windsor ("Town") is soliciting proposals from qualified engineering and planning consulting firms to enter into a Professional Services Agreement to update the Town of Windsor's 2016 Comprehensive Plan. The comprehensive plan update will help address the challenges of facilitating fiscally sound growth, multi-modal access, economic development and implementation in a strategic manner that is responsive to existing and anticipated demographic and land use changes. With the infusion of major residential growth and other large commercial developments such as the Future Legends Sports Complex, the character of the Town is ever evolving. Additionally, the plan update will be coordinated with regional plans and investments, and will aim to provide equitability and support for all segments of the community. Final selection is anticipated for the week of April 11, 2022, with contract approval in May 2022. Questions regarding the RFP may be submitted to deisenbraun@windsorgov.com by 5:00 pm February 23, 2022. Town staff will respond to questions by February 28, 2022, via email, to the application contact and will also be posted on the Town's website. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
