Direct all communications to Bernadette Hamay at 724-755-5954. Due to the current events associated with the coronavirus, attendance will be limited to one representative per company at the bid opening meeting. You will be required to maintain social distancing as well as wear a mask upon entrance to the building and during the meeting. All bids shall contain sufficient information on the material proposed to be furnished to permit the Authority to determine its meeting the specifications. The successful bidder shall provide the Authority with a surety bond, acceptable to the Authority, for the faithful performance of the contract, within ten (10) days after the Authoritys formal notification of contract award. The amount of the surety bond shall be $5,000.00. Prices quoted shall be firm for the period of April 1, 2022 Through March 31, 2023 The Municipal Authority of Westmoreland County reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept any bid or any portion of the bids it deems in its best interest.
