PRESSURE REDUCING VAULT IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT PHASE 2 consists of the replacement of 6 pressure reducing valves, vaults, and appurtenances, and all related work on the Authoritys water system. Work under this contract shall include all materials, equipment, supplies, and labor for the construction as shown and specified in the Contract Documents. The projects various locations consist of Allegheny Township, Vandergrift Borough and Sewickley Township in Westmoreland County and Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. To access the electronic format the bidder must have a valid email address and will require an internet connection. All checks shall be made payable to The EADS Group, Inc. Bidders must purchase the Contract Documents and Plans (in either format) from The EADS Group, Inc. to be eligible to bid this project. The project is being funded with local funds. The obligations imposed on the Owner shall apply to and be acceptable to the successful bidder(s). Not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder(s) will be required to fully complete all work within 365 consecutive calendar days from, and including, the date indicated by the Owner in their written Notice to Proceed. The Owner also reserves the right to waive all minor informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the Work and to award the contract as may be deemed in the best interest of the Owner.
