Site work for a water / sewer project in Butler, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work included in this project includes Traffic Control (1 LS), Lateral Televising (51 EA), Obstruction Removal (23 EA), Lateral Grouting - 8"-10" Mainline - First 15' (49 EA), Lateral Grouting - From Manhole - First 15' (2 EA), and Grout (866 GAL). Bids shall be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a bid Bond, certified check, or cashiers check made payable to the Village of Butler in an amount of 5 percent (5%) of the Bidder's maximum Bid price. If the successful bidder fails to execute the contract and furnish the required bonds within 10 days after the Award, the Check or Bid Bond shall be forfeited to the Village as liquidated damages. Bids shall be submitted on the bid form provided and all blanks must be filled in for the bid to be accepted. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days from the date of the bid opening. All bidders must be on the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewage District's Approved Contractor List for PPII work. Any bids from Contractors not on the list will not be accepted. The Village reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities not involving price, time or changes in the Work and the right to disregard all nonconforming, non-responsive, unbalanced or conditional Bids and the right to accept the Bid and Bids which best serve the interests of the Village.
