1. Removal of approximately 1,100 square yards of pavement. 2. Installation of approximately 250 tons of asphaltic pavement. 3. Removal of approximately 120 tons of impacted material. 4. Addition of approximately 1,050 tons of aggregate base. 5. Replacement of approximately 550 linear feet of pavement markings. 6. Addition of approximately 90 square yards of native landscaping. The bid documents are those prepared by Strand Associates, Inc.(R), 126 North Jefferson Street, Suite 350, Milwaukee, WI 53202, and designated as "Police Department Parking Lot Reconstruction." The letting of Work is subject to the provisions of Section 66.0901 of the Wisconsin Statutes. The successful Bidder's failure to execute the Contract and furnish the Performance Bond within 10 days after the Award shall cause the Bid Bond or check to be forfeited to the Village as liquidated damages in accordance with Section 62.15(3) of the Wisconsin Statutes. A recommendation will be made to the Village Board at its meeting on March 7, 2022. Award will be made to the lowest and most responsible Bidder. The Village of Shorewood reserves the right to accept any bid most advantageous to the Village, waive any technicality, or reject any or all bids. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the Bid Opening date without the consent of the Village.
