Clearing of approximately 8,600 linear feet (20-foot wide) of sanitary sewer rights-of-way and placement of 50 utility markers. A pre-bid conference will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at the Jenkins Township Sanitary Authority Building located at 46-1/2 Main Street, Inkerman, PA 18640. It is highly recommended that the bidder attends the pre-bid conference. Clarification Deadline: 3/3/2022 5:00 PM Each BID must be accompanied by a BID Bond, on the form provided with this document, payable to the OWNER for ten (10%) percent of the total amount of the BID. A certified check may be used in lieu of a BID Bond. A Performance BOND and a Payment BOND, each in the amount of 100 percent of the CONTRACT PRICE, with a corporate surety approved by the OWNER, will be required in accordance with the Contract Surety provision of the GENERAL CONDITIONS. The Performance BOND and Payment BOND shall be in the forms included in these CONTRACT DOCUMENTS. The OWNER reserves the right, at its option, to waive any informalities, irregularities, defects, errors or omissions in any or all BID Proposals, as the OWNER may deem to be in its best interest.
