Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in McDonald, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The project will consist of pavement resurfacing of 0.53 miles of the following roadway sections: * E. 3rd St. (Grant Ave. - Hayes Ave.) * Hayes Ave. (E. 5th St. - McKinley Blvd.) * Garfield Ave. (E. 5th St. - E. 4th St.) * McKinley Blvd. (E. 5th St. - E. 4th St.) The work will include the reconstruction of the existing roadway cross-slope to improve drainage characteristics, the adjustment or reconstruction of manholes, storm sewer inlets, and water valve boxes, as well as the construction of new curb ramps to meet ADA compliance. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each Proposal must state full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The owner intends and requires that this project be completed in 30 calendar days from the notice to proceed. All contractors/subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and the Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Trumbull County and the Village of McDonald, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Bureau of Wage and Hour Administration, 614.644.2239. No bidder shall be considered a competent and responsible bidder or eligible to be awarded the contract to which this Notice applies, if the bidder is listed on the Auditor of State's database as having a "Finding of Recovery" as that term is defined in O.R.C. 9.24. Bids shall be submitted on forms provided and shall state the Unit Price or Lump Sum as indicated by the blanks provided therefore; and shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked on the outside "2020 Street Resurfacing Project" with the contractor's name, address, phone number, email address and contact name. The Village of McDonald reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any formalities or irregularities in bidding.
