Renovation of a mixed-use development in Federal Way, Washington. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Per the owner, as of March 28, 2022, the proposals will be publicly opened on March 28, 2022 and a decision is anticipated to be made the following week. Closed solicitation has been included below for reference. .................. Federal Way Public Schools (District) is soliciting Request for Proposals (RFP) from qualified Energy Service Companies (ESCOs). Scope of Work: The District desires to conduct energy conservation projects within the District. Projects will include: conducting and providing an energy and utility conservation audit of District; engineering and design of approved conservation measures; assistance in obtaining grants/incentives for the measures; purchase and installation of the conservation measures; construction administration services; guarantee of costs; guarantee of savings; commissioning of the measures; monitoring and verification of savings; and ongoing engineering assistance to ensure that savings are achieved. Interested parties will be asked to submit a Statement of Qualifications, a Previously Completed Energy Conservation Project, and a Contractor Fee Proposal. Questions about this RFP should be directed to: creagle@fwps.org Following selection, the District intends to enter into an Energy Savings Performance contract with the successful ESCO(s). The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time.
