Project #1 Application of a Double Bituminous Seal Coat complete in-place utilizing CRS-2P and in accordance with PennDOT PUB 447, MS-0340-0005 Mine Hill Road - Route 212 to Lehnenberg Road Cross Road - Mine Hill Road to Lehnenberg Road Chestnut Lane - Kintner Road to Durham-Nox Road Spring Hill Road - Durham Road to Stouts Valley Road The roadway must be swept before and after the project is conducted, with the debris/stones that are swept off the roadway being dumped into a township truck, with a Township driver, and hauled off site. Contractor is responsible for traffic control during all phases of construction. Contractor shall notify residents in a manner acceptable to the Township a minimum of 2 days prior to each location of construction. Bid to be awarded based on a total of all items to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder. The Projects will be awarded at a monthly public business meeting of the Durham Township Board of Supervisors with in 60 days. All proposals must be on the forms furnished by the Township. Forms are available at the Township Building during normal business hours (M-F 8am to Noon) or electronically by emailing info@durhamtownship.org. The Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to award the contract in the best interest of Durham Township. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to Durham Township. performance and payment bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract (or similar financial security) shall be furnished by the successful bidder to the Township within 20 days after the contract is awarded. Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $870 per calendar day.
