The 2022 PCC Street Patching Program includes the full depth removal and replacement of PCC street pavement at five (5) separate locations, generally located on: o SE Delaware Avenue (southbound lanes) between SE Oralabor Road and SE Magazine Road o SE Michael Drive between SE Chaparal Drive and SE Magazine Road and SE Chaparal Drive between SE Michael Drive and SE Hayes Drive o SE Uehlamar Drive at SE Delaware Avenue o West 1st Street between NW Weigel Drive and NW Irvinedale Drive o NW 9th Street at North Ankeny Boulevard The improvements include approximately 700 SY of 9" thick PCC Class M street pavement, 1,825 SY of 9" thick PCC Class C-SUD street pavement, 250 SY of 8" thick PCC Class C-SUD street pavement, and 2,175 SY of 7" thick PCC Class C-SUD street pavement. Other associated improvements include sidewalk removal and replacement, minor adjustments to storm sewer and sanitary sewer structures, temporary traffic control, permanent pavement markings, mobilization, and other miscellaneous associated work necessary to complete the project. A truss screed shall be used on all patches greater than three panels in length. No exceptions will be allowed. Downloads of the Contract Documents require the user to register for a free membership. Paper copies of the Contract Documents are available from the City of Ankeny Public Works Department, 1210 NW Prairie Ridge Drive, Ankeny, Iowa, 50023, for a fee of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) per set. This fee is refundable, provided the following conditions are met: (1) The Contract Documents are returned complete and in a reusable condition, and (2) they are returned within fourteen (14) calendar days after the award of the project.
