Furnish and Install Audio/Video System at Burlington Public Library The Town of Burlington, on behalf of the Burlington Public Library, is seeking bids from qualified
contracts for the design, engineering, staging, preparation, construction materials, fabrication, labor
and equipment associated with the supply and installation of new audio visual (A/V) system at
Burlington Public Library, located at 22 Sears Street, Burlington, MA 01803. This project includes the removal of the existing projector and screen, the supply and installation of a
new 137" recessed, electric projection screen and the supply and installation of a new, 6000 LUMEN
laser lamp projector in the main room. This work includes any ceiling tiles needed and/or ceiling grid
needed to be reworked to properly close the ceiling due to the difference in screen case sizes;
All blocking/power/data and relocation of any existing switches and/or infrastructure and the
supply and installation of two (2) new 65" wall mounted LCD monitors. Final locations in Fogelberg
B and McIntire Rooms are TBD. These monitors will be used as supplemental displays to the
projection systems when the rooms are joined and will also be able to be used as standalone displays
using hardwired HDMI inputs along with each system having a single button Barco Clickshare
wireless sharing system. When being used as stand alone, content audio from the end-users
presentation will be routed through that room's ceiling speakers. Local video (HDMI input and
dedicated Barco) will only be able to be displayed to the associated wall mounted LCD in each room;
The supply and installation of a wireless AV gateway in the combined room via Barco Clickshare
located in the AV equipment rack and a local HDMI input plate within Fogelberg A. The supply and
installation of an OFE rack mounted PC for use in Room A, controlled by a wireless mouse and
keyboard;
The supply and installation of an HDMI PTZ camera mounted in Fogelberg A. Location TDB
basedon areas of the room to be captured. The supply and installation of an HDMI input extender to
extend the camera signals to a rack mounted HDMI to USB converter used to route video into the
web conferencing PC as a camera source and as a new far-end audio source;
The supply and installation of a press output plate that contains one (1) male XLR connection and an
HDMI output that will mirror the projection display, wall mounted in the main room. The audio on
the XLR will be a mix of the local microphones, source audio, and far-end audio;
The supply and installation of USB switching and extender solution added to the system with a single
USB ingest point in the rack for the camera signal and the audio signal, routed over a new network
switch to either the rack PC or a laptop BYOD, wall plate location;
The supply and installation of five (5) new wireless microphone combination kits, each containing a
wireless lavalier/belt pack and a handheld microphone connection to any combination of the five (5)
microphones. Each microphone will be assigned to the Fogelberg A audio signal and will only be
heard in the other rooms when joined with Room A
