The major items ofwork indude resurfacing the main drive that serves the Community and. Event Center at Les Gove Park. The existing pervious concrete pavement, which sits on a gravel reservoir base course material is proposed to be replaced with hot mix asphalt pavement over the same reservoir base course material. Pavement restriping will be necessary for some of the existing parking stalls affected by the removal and replacement of the pavement. The proposed hid range for the project is from $150,000 to $200,000. The entire project, including cleanup, shall be physically completed within 30 working days. This project is funded by city monies. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in cash, certified check, cashiers check or proposal bond (surety bond) in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such Contract and furnish satisfactory Contract Bond within the time stated in the Bid Documents, the bid deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Auburn.
