Site work for a water / sewer project in Hayward, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Project was awarded to Taylor’s Excavating, LLC for the Septic Systems in the amount of $64,928.00. and Nehls & Webster Well Drilling for Individual Wells and Water Systems in the amount of $27,721.50. Bids are being solicited for the construction rehabilitation of private on-site wastewater treatment systems (POWTS) and connections to the community water and sewer system on and around the Lac Courte Oreilles (LCO) Indian Reservation (Sawyer County, WI). The responsive, responsible bidder with the lowest bid price selected by the Band will be the Contractor for this project; which may include additional work at sites identified in the future under a new project implemented later in 2022. The Indian Health Service (IHS) and the Band will conduct a final inspection of the work to ensure compliance with the plans/specifications provided prior to final acceptance of the work. Once punchlist items have been corrected a 1-year warranty on all work completed by the Contractor shall commence. Davis-Bacon Wages are required for this project. Contractor shall provide payroll information as necessary to the Band for verification of compliance with Davis-Bacon requirements. The number and location of the sites is unknown at this time. However, it is anticipated that two (2) sites will be identified for this project before June 2022.
