Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Ashland, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The Stuntz Ave Sewer projects consist of three locations for work within the City of Ashland, Ashland County, Wisconsin. The major project components are the removal and replacement of 870LF of sewer line and 3 sanitary sewer manholes. Associated construction includes removal of asphalt, concrete, and alley surfaces. Gravel alley reconstruction, erosion control, restoration, and traffic control are also significant components of the project. All costs for bypass pumping shall be considered incidental to adjacent work. The Stuntz Ave Sewer projects consist of three locations for work within the City of Ashland, Ashland County, Wisconsin. The first location is the alley between Stuntz Ave and 7th Ave E running from Main Street to USH2. This section will remove 8" VCP and replace with 8"PVC pipe. One existing manhole will be removed and replaced with precast concrete manhole. During construction sanitary service laterals will be dye tested and active lines reconnected to the main line. No change in line or grade or service area occurs for this section. The second project area is located East of Stuntz Ave and just south of Main Street. The existing 8" VCP in this area is failed to the extent that a camera can no longer pass through the pipe. Additionally the existing pipe is not laid in a straight line and has a bend north of the existing manhole that is to be replaced. The existing manhole in the alley will be replaced with a new precast concrete manhole. The 8" VCP outlet pipe will be replaced with 8" PVC. Clearing and grubbing will be required in this section. The third project area is located in the alley between Prentice Ave and 5th Ave E running from 9ths St E to 8th St E. This section will remove the existing 8" VCP with 8" PVC in the same line and grade. The new PVC line will be reconnected to the existing manhole structures. During construction sanitary service laterals will be dye tested and active lines reconnected to the main line. No change in line or grade or service area occurs for this section. Concrete aprons and sidewalks will be replaced as part of this project. Hot Mix Asphalt repaving and patching will be done by others. Pre-Bid Conference: A Pre-Bid Conference will not be held. These points shall constitute the field control by and in accordance with which the Contractor shall govern and execute the work.
