Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The proposed work includes the supply and installation of approximately 220 metres of 200 mm ductile iron water main, 270 metres of 200 mm sanitary sewer main, 130 metres of various sizes of storm sewer, and includes the reconnection of service laterals, roadway granulars, roadway reinstatement, asphalt concrete, curbs and sidewalk, landscaping, and all related appurtenances. Contractors responding to this Notice of Tender are advised that official contract documents can only be obtained from EXP. Only Contractors who have received the Tender documents directly from EXP are eligible to submit a Tender on this project. General Contractors only may obtain Drawings and Specifications from EXP, 1133 Regent Street, Suite 300, Fredericton, NB, E3B 3Z2, 506-452-9000 upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit of $50.00 per set (including HST). Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or certified cheque in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Tender Price (including HST). Subject to the Contract Documents and the Supplemental Conditions, the successful bidder shall be required to provide Performance Securities as specified in the Bid Documents.The lowest or any Bid shall not necessarily be accepted. Bid Documents will be on display at the Construction Association offices at Fredericton, Saint John and Moncton, and at EXP, Fredericton, NB.
