Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The proposed work involves the reconstruction of the infrastructure on Autumn Street 180 metres from the intersection with Cherry Avenue to the east and Clarence Avenue to the west, including the installation of approximately 175 metres of various sizes of storm sewer mains, 135 metres of 200 mm PVC sanitary sewer main, 160 metres of 200 mm DI water main, concrete curb and gutter, roadway granulars, asphalt concrete, landscaping, and related appurtenances. The official contract documents can only be obtained from GEMTEC Consulting Engineers and Scientists Ltd. Only Contractors who have received the Tender directly from GEMTEC Consulting Engineers and Scientists Ltd. are eligible to submit a Tender on this project. General Contractors only may obtain Drawings and Specifications from GEMTEC Consulting Engineers and Scientists Ltd., 191 Doak Road, Fredericton, NB 506-453-1025 on payment of $50.00 (including HST) per set, non-refundable. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or certified cheque in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Tender Price (including HST). Subject to the Contract Documents and the Supplemental Conditions, the successful bidder shall be required to provide Performance Securities as specified in the Bid Documents.
