The City of Adrian reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities. The intent of the bid is to remove and replace seven (7) commercial grade garage doors and six (6) garage door openers at the Adrian Fire Station. The Adrian Fire Station is located at 208 S. Main Street, Adrian, Michigan 49221. The contractor is responsible for obtaining and paying for all necessary permits. The contractor is responsible for maintaining site protection during this process. The contractor is responsible for providing all necessary labor, parts, materials and equipment necessary to complete this job in a workmanlike manner. 1. Remove and dispose of seven (7) existing commercial garage doors including weather seal trim. 2. Remove and dispose of seven (7) sets of door rail that is welded to the door frame. 3. Weld into place seven (7) new sets of door rail that follow the roofline pitch. 4. Install seven (7) new commercial garage doors, retrofitting into their respective jambs. -HAAS Model 2000, 14' 2"X 14' commercial garage door -2" polyurethane door -Color white -R-value 17.66 -Double end stiles -Wind rated -One (1) row of four (4) 12"X24" windows to match doors replaced in 2019 -Three inch (3") brush weather seal around top and sides of door -Include the highest possible rated springs available on a single bar assembly 5. Install six (6) new garage door openers to match openers already replaced (any electrical upgrades or changes to facilitate this must be included.) 6. Install seven (7) emergency chain lift devices. 7. Ensure garage door functions properly using existing buttons and remotes or replace as needed to ensure proper operation.
