In general, work includes the removal and replacement of community garden fence enclosures with cedar-clad steel posts and wire mesh panels. The initial project will be replacement of the fence at the Whiteaker Community Garden. The contract shall be valid for one year and may be extended for up to two (2) additional one-year periods upon agreement of both parties. Pricing shall remain firm for the first contract year. Contractor may propose increases in pricing for each one-year extension period which shall be subject to acceptance by the City. The successful bidder shall provide, within thirty (30) days after receiving the bid award, a performance bond and payment bond each in a sum equal to the Contract Price or Order Price. The bonds shall be dated concurrent to, or subsequent to, the date of the Contract or Order. The City reserves the right: . To reject for good cause any or all bids upon the City's written finding that it is in the public interest to do so.
