As of May 3,2022 This project is awarded to Inland Flooring Contractors, Inc. With the awarded amount of $174,687.63. The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals required for the above stated project as set forth in the Specifications, and Contract Documents therefore, and to perform all work in the manner and time prescribed therein. The general items of work to be done hereunder consist of the removal and installation of flooring in Fire Station 47 as specified by the City of Norco Parks and Facilities Division as described in Specifications and Standards There are 60 working days allowed to complete this project including design. Liquidated damages shall be assessed at $500.00 per working day. Any Contract entered into pursuant to this notice will incorporate the provisions of the State Labor Code. Compliance with the prevailing rates of wages, apprenticeship employment standards, and Contractor registration program established by the State of California Director of Industrial Relations will be required. Affirmative action to ensure against discrimination in employment practices on the basis of race, color, national origin, ancestry, sex, or religion will be also required. The Contract Documents call for monthly progress payments based upon the City's estimate of the percentage of work completed. The AGENCY will retain 5 percent of each progress payment as security for completion of the balance of the work. At the request and expense of the successful Bidder, the City of Norco will pay the amounts so retained upon compliance with the requirements of Government Code Section 4590 and the provisions of the Contract Documents pertaining to Substitution of Securities. The AGENCY reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularity, to accept any bid or portion thereof, and to take all bids under advisement for a period of 90 days. At the time of Contract award, the prime contractor must possess a C-15 Flooring License to perform the work. Prior to execution of the Contract, the Contractor will be required to submit two good and sufficient bonds each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price for performance and payment, and to satisfactorily provide evidence of insurance as described elsewhere in these Specifications. This contract is subject to state contract nondiscrimination and compliance requirements pursuant to Government Code Section 12990.
