Mycom 8A Compressor Overhaul - Major Work Included: - Vent compressor - Drain oil - Remove heads - Remove valves and springs - Remove pistons and connecting rods - Remove cylinder liners - Lapping - Check water circuits for scale - Remove and check oil cooler coil - Clean and inspect Cuno filter - Assemble compressor - Draw Vacuum on compressor to remove all non-condensables/moisture. Evacuate the compressor to 710mm hg or 28" of vacuum. The vacuum will hold for a minimum of 1 hour and must be witnessed by Maintenance Staff.
