Project no: LE21023 Imperial Irrigation District (IID), an irrigation district established under Division 11 of the California Water Code, Sections 20500 et seq., that provides non-potable water, farm drainage and power services to the lower southeastern portion of California's desert, is requesting proposals from highly qualified Respondents to: Provide all labor, supervision, equipment and material necessary to remove sediment from the Galleano and Young Reservoirs, including but not limited to: Remove approximately 74,052 cubic yards (cyds) of sediment from the Galleano Reservoir and place it at the disposal area designated by the IID. The project is located within Sections 28 of T. 10 S, R. 14 E, S.B.M. Northeast of the City of Niland along Wilkins Road adjacent to the East Highline Canal at Z Lateral. Remove approximately 49,033 cubic yards (cyds) of sediment from the Young Reservoir and place it at the disposal area designated by the IID. The project is located within Sections 27 of T. 12 S, R. 14 E, S.B.M., south of the City of Calipatria at the intersection of Albright Road and Kershaw Road. Respondents are required to wear a facemask throughout the jobwalk, closed toe shoes are recommended. Respondents will have to answer the Contractor/Consultant Health Questionnaire (attached) at the jobwalk location and have temperature checked. If you answer "Yes" to any of the questions, or have a measured forehead temperature of 100.4 or higher you will not be allowed to enter. Only persons or firms possessing a current, valid type "A" California Contractor's License will be considered for this work.
