Site work and paving for a civil project in Imperial, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; water / sewer project; and for paving for a road / highway.

Paving and drainage improvements on approximately 49,670 sq. ft. of existing deteriorated asphalt paving at the N55 Service Station located in the Headquarters Yard at 333 E. Barioni Blvd. Imperial, CA. Improvements involve: Demolition Asphalt paving Concrete Storm Drain System Water Main Sewer line replacement Electrical Conduit Questions concerning this Primary Request for Proposal should be directed in writing, no later than 5:00 p.m., Local Time, Tuesday, May 31, 2022 to Mr. Marty P. Holbrook, purchasing agent, via email to: purchasing@iid.com. Responses to questions received will be provided digitally and under this solicitation listing to all participants no later than 5:00 p.m., Local Time, Thursday, June 2, 2022. Responses will not be accepted from respondents not attending this mandatory meeting (see attached files). Prospective respondents must be present and signed in prior to the start of the mandatory meeting. Anyone not signed in at the official start of the meeting will be considered late and will not be allowed to submit a proposal. Anyone who does not attend the entire mandatory meeting will not be credited with attending. Closed toe shoes are required. Not less than the general prevailing rate of per diem wages for work of a similar character in the locality in which this contract is to be performed, and not less than the general prevailing rate of per diem wages for holiday and overtime work fixed as provided in Chapter 1 (commencing with Section 1720), Part 7, Division 2 of the Labor Code, shall be paid to all workmen and apprentices employed on this public work. Prevailing Wage per diem wages can also be reviewed and downloaded on-line electronically. Prospective respondents must be present and signed in prior to the start of the mandatory meeting. Anyone not signed in at the official start of the meeting will be considered late and will not be allowed to submit a proposal. Anyone who does not attend the entire mandatory meeting will not be credited with attending. Closed toe shoes are required. Respondent will have to answer the Contractor/Consultant Health Questionnaire (attached) and have their forehead temperature checked. Access to the building will not be granted if any of the questions is answered "Yes", or have a measured forehead temperature of 100.4F or higher. Adequate face covering (facemask) is not required, but is recommended. Questions concerning this Primary Request for Proposal should be directed in writing, no later than 5:00 p.m., Local Time, 06/06/2022 to Mr. Marty P. Holbrook, purchasing agent, via email to: purchasing@iid.com. Responses to questions received will be provided digitally for download on our website www.iid.com, under this solicitation listing to all participants no later than 5:00 p.m., Local Time, Thursday, June 2, 2022. Imperial Irrigation District expressly reserves the right to accept or reject any or all responses, or any portion thereof, and to waive any informality in responses received. IID also reserves the right to privately evaluate responses and to delay the award not more than 60 working days. IID may, at any time, terminate the Contract or any portion of the work not then completed by giving Contractor written notice of termination. Upon receipt of notice of termination, Contractor, unless the notice requires otherwise, shall: 1. Discontinue Work on the date and to the extent specified in the notice, except work necessary to preserve and protect the work in progress. 2. Place no further orders or subcontracts for material, services, or supplies related to the terminated work. 3. Make every reasonable effort to procure termination of all orders, subcontracts, and rental Contracts to the extent they relate to performance of work terminated upon terms satisfactory to IID. 4.Otherwise minimize costs and mitigate damages to IID.
