Imperial Irrigation District (IID), an irrigation district established under Division 11 of the California Water Code, Sections 20500 et seq., that provides non-potable water, farm drainage and power services to the lower southeastern portion of California's desert, is requesting proposals from highly qualified Respondents to: Drill, construct and test shallow geologic exploration/test wells near the Bombay Beach area on the eastern shore of the Salton Sea, including the following: Drilling of up four pilot borings to depths of approximately 100 feet to characterize subsurface conditions, sample water quality, and collect data necessary for design of the test wells; Construction and development of up to three test wells; Pump testing at one selected test well; and Installation and connection of solar powered electrical pumps, controllers and solar photovoltaic (PV) panel arrays at up to three test wells. Questions concerning this Secondary Request for Proposal should be directed in writing, no later than 5:00 p.m., Local Time, Tuesday, May 3, 2022 to Mr. Marty P. Holbrook, purchasing agent, via email to: purchasing@iid.com. Responses to questions received will be provided digitally for download on our website www.iid.com, under this solicitation listing to all participants no later than 5:00 p.m., Local Time, Thursday, May 5, 2022.
