As of June 3, 2022 This project is awarded to Asphalt Maintenance Solutions, LLC with awarded amount of $184,100.98. Construction start date will be sometime before August 31, 2022. This project will consist of placement of approximately 12,326 SY of ultra-thin bonded wearing course on 4th St. (Main St. to State St.) and Jefferson St. (6th St. to 4th St.) in the Borough. Items for sweeping and preparation, and joint sealing around curbs, manholes, inlets, and valve boxes will be incidental to the project. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 4/1/2022 4:00 PM Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Borough of East Greenville. Award of Contract, if a Contract be awarded, will be to the lowest responsible bidder, but the Owner reserves the unqualified right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities. All current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Standards and Specifications will prevail over all standards and specifications included in this contract. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. The work in connection with this project constitutes a Public Works by a Public Body project. Bidders are advised that prevailing minimum wage rates, as set forth in the Contract Documents, must be paid to workmen employed on this project. In addition, the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, or disability.
