As of May 11, 2022, the project awarded to Schroeder Asphalt Services for $1,457,627.08 All bidders must comply with applicable Illinois law requiring the payment of prevailing wages by all contractors working on public works. Bidder must comply with all Illinois Statutory requirements regarding labor, including Equal Employment Opportunities Laws. The scope includes the following major pay items: 71,067 SY HMA Surface Removal; 43,850 SF of PCC Sidewalk; 8,100 LF of PCC C&G; 3,850 SY of HMA patching; and 1,120 TONS of Hot Mix Asphalt installed. IDOT prequalification is a prerequisite for issuance of any proposal forms. The proposed improvement consists of: 1. Concrete Repair & HMA Surface Removal Streets - This work shall consist of concrete repairs, 2-1/4" HMA surface removal, and miscellaneous appurtenances in the following areas: a. Moraine Area - Moraine Drive and Moraine Court b. Surrey Area - Surrey Drive and Surrey Court c. Gant Area - Gant Circle, N Victoria Lane, and Shag Bark Lane (Gant to N Park) d. Kensington Area - Kensington Drive, Kensington Court, Canton Lane, Pembroke Circle, Sheffield Court, Dover Court, Weston Court, and Manchester Court e. Hillside Area - Hillside Drive (Oltendorf to S Park) and Hillside Court f. Heather Area - Heather Lane and Heather Court g. Colonial Area - Colonial Court and Osprey Court The "Concrete Repair & HMA Surface Removal Streets" will be milled by the Contractor in preparation for overlay by Village forces. Sidewalk removed and replaced in these areas will be paid for as PCC SIDEWALK REMOVAL & REPLACEMENT
