Site work for a water / sewer project in Olmos Park, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project bid package consists of a Base Bid and three Add Alternate Bids. Work includes the effort necessary to TV inspect all repairs, restoring landscape, and doing appurtenant work. Base Bid: Point Repair 1, replacing one 9- to 12-LF segment of 6" lined sewer main. Add Alternate No. 1: Point Repair 2, replacing one 9- to 12-LF segment of 8" lined sewer main. Add Alternate No. 2: Obstruction Removal 1 (Protruding Tap) Add Alternate No. 3: Point Repair 3, replacing one 9- to 12-LF segment of 6" lined sewer main. Written questions may be submitted by email to galindo@givlerengineering.com prior to noon, March 30, 2022. Each bid must be accompanied by an acceptable bid bond or certified check in the amount of 5% of the total bid. Bids must be submitted in the bid form furnished. No bid may be withdrawn for 45 days after the above scheduled closing time set for the receipt of bids. Pursuant to V.T.C.S. Art. 5159a not less than the local prevailing wage rate must be paid in this project. The City of Olmos Park reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any formalities and to select the bid deemed in the best interest of the City.
