Renovation of a library in Stratford, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
The Infrastructure and Development Services Department, Development Services Division, is seeking tenders for the renovation of 3 public washrooms at the Stratford Public Library. The renovation work includes renovation of the existing main floor barrier free washroom and basement level men's/women's washrooms. The scope includes demolition of the existing washrooms, reconfiguring the washroom layout, construction of new partition walls, new ceilings, new flooring, tilework and painting throughout, new plumbing fixtures, new lighting and mechanical/electrical alterations to suit. It should be noted that the building will be occupied throughout construction and that some work will need to be completed after hours or on weekends. The project will also be phased. Phase 1 is renovation of the basement level washrooms, which are to be complete before Phase 2 renovation of the existing main level barrier free washroom.
