This project work will be to control the spread of noxiousweeds via mechanical control and complete re-vegetation/restoration projects ofnative plant species. The work will be based within Summit County and limitedareas in Wasatch County, Utah. The goal of this work is to help restore andpromote native plant communities and provide better habitat for wildlife bydecreasing noxious weed infestations and, specifically, by strategicallymechanically controlling noxious weeds by various methods. Certain areas whichhave reached a level of management success will be locations for restoration andre-establishment of native plant communities. Proposals should be submitted via email to Hannah Halsted,Trails and Open Space Ranger, to Hannah.Halsted@parkcity.org.A selection committee comprised of City Staff will review all submitted RFPs onApril 7, 2021.Park City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive anyminor irregularities in any proposal.
