Site work for a communication facility in Holyoke, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a communication facility.
Transmission Pole Repairs-Repair twelve 115kV steel transmission poles. The poles were constructed in circa 1982. In 2021, an engineering field inspection revealed that 2 had structural damage due to corrosion and the grouting between the pole base and the concrete foundation was in at best fair condition for all 12 structures. Bidders are to provide bids that include the cost for any and all labor, equipment and material required for the repair of these structures as described in the IFB. The Invitation for Bid (IFB) and contract are subject to MGL c.30 s.39M. It is the Bidder's responsibility to become familiar with the work area and make a determination as to the best means to complete the work prior to submitting a bid. Prevailing Wage Rates apply. Bid Deposit equal to 5% of the total contract value, consisting of a bid bond or certified check, in the amount of five percent of the total amount of bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Payment Bond equal to 50% of the total contract value.
