The project includes one contract described as follows: The project involves approximately 30,500 linear feet of internal inspection by closed-circuit television (CCTV) and preparatory cleaning of 8" diameter vitrified clay sanitary sewer pipe, air testing of all joints, and chemical grouting of all failed joints. An inspection report will detail the findings of the investigations. Clarification Deadline 4/18/2022 4:00 PM Each Proposal shall be accompanied by Bidder's Bond in favor of the Hempfield Township Municipal Authority in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the Proposal as evidence the Bidder will accept and carry out the conditions of the Contract in case of award. The Hempfield Township Municipal Authority reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all Bids. The Owner reserves the right to increase any or all of the above-mentioned quantities of work or to omit any of them, as it may deem necessary and such increase or decrease of the quantities given for any of the items shall not be considered as sufficient grounds for granting an increase in the unit prices Bid. The Owner reserves the right to award a contract for work under either System 1 or System 10 individually, or to award a contract for work under both System 1 and System 10 collectively. The Successful Bidder will be required to enter into a Contract with the Hempfield Township Municipal Authority, and to furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Bond in the full amount of the Bid. No Bidder may withdraw their Bid within 60 days after the actual opening date thereof. All applicable laws, ordinances and the rules and regulations of the authorities having jurisdiction over the work shall apply to the Contract throughout. The Successful Bidders will be required to comply with all Federal, State and local Laws and Regulations and fair employment practices which may be applicable to this Contract.
