Site work for a water / sewer project in Mount Airy, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Town of Mount Airy is soliciting bids from Utility Contractors for the replacement of the Prospect Road water main to an 8 pipe from the top of Prospect Road at Main Street down to 300 . There will not be a pre-bid meeting for this project. However, the Contractor may contact the Town Engineer with any questions that they might have. A list of prospective bidders will be developed for all Contractors who pickup documents from the Town Hall or the Town s website. Bids from prospective bidders who have not obtained these documents from one of these places will not be accepted. Inquiries concerning the scope and bidding documents or other technical questions shall be directed to the Town Engineer at 301-829-1424. (if automated phone system, select engineering) The Town of Mount Airy hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all Bidders, to reject any and all Bids and to waive any omissions, errors, mistakes, defects or irregularities in any Bid, and to accept the Bid which, in the judgment of the Owner, is to its best interest.
