Washington Boulevard and Davis Street Paving and Drainage Improvements The work consists of the installation of approximately 2,700 S.Y. of 2-1/2" FB Modified Cold Mix Binder and 1" of 9.5 mm Warm Mix PG 64-22 wearing course. Replace a 15" diameter cross drain and install a new storm inlet and 15" diameter drain pipe along and across Washington Boulevard and repave roadway. Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those persons whose name and address are on record at Bankson Engineers, Inc. as having obtained the Bidding Documents. Bids will be accepted only from Bidders who have obtained the official set of Contract Documents from Bankson Engineers, Inc. and who are on Bankson Engineers Inc.s list of planholders. This project is funded in whole or part with federal funds. Davis-Bacon wage rates and other federal requirements apply and are included in the bid documents. Labor Compliance is mandatory. Contractors should use the Directory of Minority, Women and Section 3 Business Enterprises to solicit proposals from potential subcontractors. The Bid Proposal must be a paper copy, with an original signature, submitted in an envelope, along with the original bid security. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a Certified Check or a Bid Bond in the amount of 10 percent of the bid amount, payable to Upper Burrell Township. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of one hundred twenty (120) days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids.
