This Invitation To Tender (" ITT") is an invitation by the Town of Collingwood ("Town") to prospective Bidders to submit Bids for the Sunset Point Park Revetment and Shore Wall Repairs, as further described in the Tender Particulars - Revetment improvement and reconstruction in Area 3 includes: - Remove and sort existing boulders. Stockpile suitable boulders for reuse. - Prepare subgrade to specified extent, including placement of fill material to restore existing ground. - Place geotextile and rip-rap filter layer. - Reconstruction of boulder revetment through the reinstatement/re-use of the suitable existing boulders, and placement of additional imported boulders, to the specified grades. - Reinstate existing park area with topsoil and seed mix. - Concrete block reconstruction in Area 4 includes: - Remove and sort existing concrete blocks. Stockpile suitable blocks for re-use. - Prepare subgrade as specified to receive base course. - Reconstruct concrete block wall, including specified structural fixings. - Supply and install subdrain with positive outlet to the lake. - Backfill wall as specified to reinstate existing ground. - Reinstate existing park area with topsoil and seed mix. The location of the work is within Sunset Point Park in the Town of Collingwood, Ontario. The location of the work is shown on the attached Drawing KP-1 and described as follows: Area 3 - Revetment East of the Inukshuk within Sunset Point Park. Area 3 extends from the tie-in with the revetment reconstruction works completed in 2020 to the tie-in with the concrete block wall forming the East Boat Basin. Area 4 - Concrete Block Wall located north of Sunset Court. award is subject to final approval.
