Construction of the 2022 PAVING PROGRAM includes: pulverizing asphaltic pavement, excavation, grading, base aggregate dense, manhole and inlet adjustments, curb and gutter spot replacements, curb ramp replacements, asphaltic pavement, pavement marking, and erosion control as well as street reconstruction and sanitary sewer relay. Approximate quantities include: 18,550 square yards of pulverize asphaltic pavement, 1,250 cubic yards of excavation, 1,850 tons of base aggregate dense, 4,650 tons of asphaltic pavement, 2,060 linear feet of concrete curb and gutter, 58 manhole and inlet adjustments, 3,170 square feet of concrete sidewalk, 360 linear feet of sanitary sewer and laterals, and 1,230 linear feet of pavement marking. This is a unit price contract. The estimated quantities as indicated above and on the Bid Schedule are inserted only for the purpose of determining the low bidder. Project is to be substantially complete on, or before, September 30, 2022. \ Work associated with the Grayce Drive and 94th Street Work Areas is a Wisconsin Local Roads Improvement Program (LRIP) MSILT Project. The Contract letting shall be subject to the provisions of Sections 61.54, 62.15 and 66.0901 of the Wisconsin Statutes. Bids shall be submitted on the electronic Bid Form provided through portal. All blanks must be filled in for the bid to be accepted. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 45 days from the date of the bid opening. Failure to list subcontractors or suppliers may be cause for rejection of the Bid. Bids shall be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, certified check, or cashier's check made payable to the Owner in an amount of five (5) percent of the Bidder's maximum Bid price. If the successful bidder fails to execute the contract and furnish the required bonds within 15 days after the Award, the Bid Security shall be forfeited to Owner as liquidated damages. The Owner has the right to reject any and/or all bids received, to waive any minor defects or irregularities that may be found in the bids, and to accept the bid that is in the best interest of the Owner, subject to the provisions of Sections 62.15 and 66.0901 of the Wisconsin Statutes. Bidder awarded a contract for the work shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in the full amount of the contract price. Prime Contractor(s) shall furnish listing of all subcontractors and suppliers performing labor and supplying materials under the Contract that individually have a total value of $1,000 or more.
