Site work and paving for a road / highway in Limerick, Pennsylvania. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Public Works Project consisting of approximately 16,900 sq. yds. (+/-) Cold in place recycled base course and 28,400 sq. yds. (+/-) of mill/sweep and tack, 4,590 (+/-) tons of 9.5mm wearing course. All work shall be in accordance with PennDOT 408 Specifications and Limerick Township General Provisions and Technical Specifications. The PA minimum prevailing wage rates, as determined by the PA Department of Labor & Industry, shall apply to this contract. All sealed proposals shall be submitted with a ten percent (10%) bid bond. The successful bidder will be required to post a Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract price. It is the intent to award this project as a single contract to the lowest qualified and responsible bidder. All Cold in place milling shall be complete in place not later than September 9, 2022. All hot bituminous wearing courses shall be complete in place not later than September 23, 2022. The Limerick Twp. Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all bids or portions thereof as they may deem necessary and in the best interest of Limerick Township.
