Renovation of a municipal facility in Eugene, Oregon. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The project consists of providing two new automatic transfer switches along with associated electrical distribution equipment as shown on the drawings. Provide temporary power as outlined in the scope of work document. Separate systems for code compliant emergency and optional standby. The scope of work for the project is to provide two (2) new Bypass Isolation Automatic Transfer Switches, ATS’s, to replace one (1) existing ATS which serves Streisinger Hall. The existing ATS serves both emergency and optional standby systems, which are fed from the same panelboards, and is not code compliant. As part of this project these two systems will be separated to provide a dedicated ATS for each system in order to meet NEC requirements. Presently the existing ATS is fed from a generator located in Willamette Hall. The alternate power source for the new ATS’s shall originate from an existing distribution panel (4A1) located in the basement of Huestis Hall.
