Clarion University of the PA State System of Higher Education invites Contractors to download bid documents for this project. The project scope consists of demolishing the existing concrete vault structure and replace in-kind. The new vault concrete will have a crystalline waterproofing admixture to limit water infiltration and prolong the life of the structure. The top of the vault will be covered with a new waterproofing membrane. The new vault will be accessed by a new 36"X36" aluminum hatch door. All steam pipe within the vault, and 6' beyond the vault perimeter will also be replaced in kind. Steam pipe outside the vault will be direct-burry type pipe. All steam valves, traps, and miscellaneous items within the vault will be replaced in-kind. Pipe insulation within the vault will be pyrogel type insulation. Work shall be accomplished by a Separate Prime Contractors according to Pennsylvania statute. The Lead Prime Contractor shall be the General Construction Contractor and shall include, but is not necessarily limited to, the furnishing of all labor, superintendence, materials, tools and equipment and performing all work necessary to complete all construction identified on the Contract Documents to the satisfaction of, and subject to approval of the Professional and the University.
