Renovation of a municipal facility in Stanardsville, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Summary:The County of Greene is accepting sealed bids for renovation work on the exterior and interior of the 1838 Stanardsville Couthouse. In general the work includes replacement and repair of the roof and cupola, and painting and replacement of exterior and interior components as noted in the attached bid document. Scope of work to be perform at Greene County Upper Court House. 1. Tear off exterior of Bell Tower and put it back to exsiting look with vinyl and pvc. 2. Replace porch's with vinyl and pvc. 3.Paint all exterior trim, doors, and columns with exterior grade white paint. Repainting the metal roof same color. 4. Scrape and paint interior of court back to same look as is now. 5.Remove upper handrail and use existing top rail and caps but back up to code height. 6. Install line hide over all court house carmera lines and video lines to make look neat. 7. Re-finish all wood inside court house. We're looking for a one stop shop to have both projects at same time. His is to save the down time going at same time. This is to save down time of Court.
