Q And A Open5/11/2022 6:01:00 PM Q And A Close6/7/2022 3:30:00 AM The City is soliciting proposals from qualified organizations, or team of organizations, for a 2022 community mowing service pilot program. This pilot program is part of the Changing our Culture of Property Maintenance (CoC) initiative, whose goal is to see the maintenance and appearance of the Citys low and moderate income (LMI) neighborhoods and those involved in Neighborhood Improvement Association (NIA) areas improved; congruently building in a system that can sustain that improvement. The City of Topeka Buildings and General Services Division is requesting bids on the mowing and trimming at 10 City owned properties. Organization may furnish their firm fixed pricing for the areas indicated below as a means of revenue for the start-up mowing organization. The intent of the firm fixed pricing for the 10 City owned properties is to generate secured revenue support for the start-up mowing organization. 1. City Hall and Topeka Performing Art Center (TPAC): 215 SE 7th Street 2. Cyrus K Holliday Building: 620 SE Madison 3. Law Enforcement Firearms Range (Approximately 4.46 Acres): 6255 SE California Ave. 4. Law Enforcement Center: 320 S. Kansas Ave. 5. Buildings and General Services Division Office: 318 NW Crane Street 6. 8th and Madison Public Parking Lot: 420 SE 8th Ave 7. Water Tower Public Parking Lot: 1121 SE Quincy Street 8. 10th and Monroe Public Parking Lot: 940 SE Monroe Street 9. 5th and Jackson Public Parking Lot: 204 SW 5th Street 10. 9th Street Public Parking Garage: 215 SE 9th Street The term of this selected proposer is for a one (1) year period. Additional, the City may renew this agreement annually for (3) three additional (1) one-year periods. In the event the selected proposer is not interested in renewing for any additional term, selected proposer must notify the City 90 days prior to selected proposer expiration. The City reserves the right to remove any acreage from the scope and final agreement and no further payment will due or payable from said date of notice to the selected organization. Also, the City reserves the right to add additional acreage to the selected organization with notice and will pay a cost per acre based on the organization firm fixed bid for like sized parcels. Any amendments will be negotiated with the organization awarded this bid and agreed to in writing.
