Scott Valley Unified School District ( District ) will accept bids for the construction of A Modernization ( Project ) at the Etna Elementary School Campus. The project consists of A modernization of (E) school building to include remodel to create (N) gender-neutral single-user toilet room, barrier removal including (N) accessible parking, (N) accessible entry stairs & ramp with retaining wall, and (N) accessible path from parking to entry. as described in the project scope of work. The District plans for the project to start on June 13, 2022, and to be completed by August 12, 2022. To bid on this Project, the bidder is required to be registered as a public works contractor with the Department of Industrial Relations and possess one or more of the following State of California Contractor Licenses: A, and/or B. The bidder s registration and license(s) must remain active and in good standing throughout the term of the Contract. This is a prevailing wage project. A mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at 1:00p.m., at, Etna Elementary School, 220 Collier Way, Fort Jones, California. All participants are required to sign-in. Failure to attend or tardiness will render bid ineligible. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond if awarded the contract for the work. The successful bidder may substitute securities for any monies withheld by the District to ensure performance under the contract in accordance with the provisions of Section 22300 of the 2019 California Public Contract Code . The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any irregularities in bids received. Unless otherwise required by law, no bidder may withdraw its bid for sixty (60) days after the date of the bid opening.
