Site work and paving for a road / highway in Colfax, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of 07/26/2022 Bids were opened for the 890th road project. Gary made a motion and Jason seconded the motion to award the gravel to Stelter at $10.65 and the blacktop to Senn for $74.30 The project is located on 890th Avenue from 930th Street East; goes for approximately 4650' East. Two (2) separate bids will be submitted for road base material and paving. The Town Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. For more information call 715-556-1008. 1) Road Base The bidder will provide a price per ton based on 3000 ton of 1 1/4 " gravel delivered and spread on site. The town reserves the right to adjust the quantity of material used. Materials will meet Wisconsin DOT specifications. 2) Resurfacing Apply new hot mix pavement. Pavement will be 20' wide and have a compacted thickness of 3", two 1 1/2 " mats with two (2) pavers. o Approximately 1,725 ton. o Materials will meet Wisconsin DOT specifications. o The bid will include the tons of material to be applied. o Finish grading. o Completion date of September 15, 2022
