Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Van Horne, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
Cleaning, prepping, and implementing any repairs necessary on the track and all event areas. The existing surface shall receive a primer and a structural spray coating in black, per specifications. The Owner will award a single construction contract for the project The contract form used shall be AIA Document A101, 2007 Edition. All questions about the contract documents, meaning and intent shall be directed to Dr. James Bieschke, Assoc. Superintendent, School Business Official. All questions or requests shall be submitted in writing ten days prior to bid closing. The successful bidder may commence work within 10 days of the notice to proceed. The project shall be substantially completed by August 15, 2022. The Contractor shall coordinate this project with any functions involving the track facility so as not to disrupt normal activities. Any weather and/or wet soil conditions that would delay the commencement of the project will be so noted and logged. The Owner may accept any bid that would best serve the interest of the school district and not necessarily be the low bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any and all informalities and has the right to disregard all nonconforming or conditional bids or counter-proposals.
