The City of San Jose ("City") is soliciting proposals to enter into an Agreement with one or more Consultants to serve as program partner for a multi-year Residential Building Electrification Upgrades and Workforce Development Acceleration Program, for existing residential single-family and multifamily buildings, with specific emphasis on serving historically marginalized communities. The City anticipates awarding a Master Services Agreement of up to $200,000, and additional funds may become available at a later date. The services will include building electrification assessments and upgrades, application assistance, financing arrangements, workforce development, outreach, and education. The program is expected to take full advantage of existing, off-the-shelf, commercially available technologies; however, applicants are strongly encouraged to submit proposals incorporating emerging and innovative solutions that foster residential building electrification upgrades.
