The Town of Stony Plain is requesting proposals from qualified consulting firms to provide bridge inspection services on 24 pedestrian bridges and approximately 28 bridge culverts. The Town has no records of prior bridge inspections, therefor this project will act as a baseline for inventory, condition, and timeline of future inspections. For Bridge Culverts: the Town requires the consultant to confirm they are bridge culverts with respect to BIM for future programs. It is anticipated that the resulting contract will be awarded on Thursday June 30, 2022 and the term of the agreement will be in effect until the completion and acceptance of the Deliverables but not beyond November 30, 2022. Unless otherwise indicated, all submissions shall be in English only. Unless otherwise indicated, and subject to applicable exceptions and exclusions, this solicitation is covered by Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement, and, where the contract value meets or exceeds applicable contract value thresholds, by the Chapter 19 of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
