TOWN OF WESTON CULVERT REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION THIS IS A LRIP TRI PROJECT The Town of Weston, Clark County is accepting sealed bids for the removal and disposal of an existing 24' wide x 24" diameter plastic culvert that is located on River Ave about 3,000' north C.T.H. "H". Also, install a 40' long 4'-10" rise x 14'-10" span aluminum box culvert, or similar in rise and span in the same location. Bidder to unload and assemble the culvert. This project lump sum bid will include: existing culvert removal and disposal, installation of new box culvert per manufacturer specs and DNR per-mit, bypass pumping, placement of culvert base material, compacted backfilling with approved material, placement of rip-rap at culvert ends, restoring road surface with a minimum thickness of 18" of D.O.T. No. 3 road gravel over new culvert, provide additional road gravel to raise elevation of 470' of 24' wide road by an average of 1'-8", and provide project erosion control. Raised portion of road shall extend level to 220' north of culvert to meet ex-isting grade and uniformly sloped to 250 south of culvert to meet existing grade.
