The Jamestown SKlallam Tribe (Tribe) is soliciting bids for a new classroom building near the existing Dungeness River Nature Center. The project includes the following construction activities: 1) Construction of a new Classroom building with associated sitework and utilities. The project is located in Sequim, WA. Bids received after the above referenced date and time will not. be accepted. Estimated Project Construction Cost: $800,000 w/o Sales Tax This solicitation does not commit the Tribe to pay any costs incurred in preparation of a bid. The Tribe reserves the right to readvertise the bid when it is in best interest of the Tribe. Contractor shall meet or exceed Clallam County Davis Bacon Wage rates for any work that is performed on-site and submit, certain certified payroll reports documenting that the wage requirements are met. Bids from Contractors that are debarred, suspended or declared ineligible will be rejected. The Tribe will give preference to Alaska Native and Indian owned Economic Enterprises so long as the bid does not exceed the lowest bid by 2% and proves not less than 51% ownership. State lien laws do not apply when the project is located on Federal Trust Land. This is not a Federal Contract, responsibility for compliance with and enforcement of the contract resides with the Tribe. In the bid documents, specifications and drawings, the Tribe may also be referred to as the owner, Engineer, or agency. The following dates are the intended project schedule. The bid is to be based on the dates as noted below.
