The City of Tillamook Oregon is accepting proposals from qualified consulting engineering firms to prepare a comprehensive Wastewater Master Plan. The goal of the Master Plan is to identify the infrastructure necessary to deliver sanitary sewer service to current and future customers within the Tillamook urban growth boundary and selected areas of interest outside the boundary. Objectives of this Plan are to identify and provide solutions to problems of the existing sanitary sewer collection system. The consultant firm will guide expansion and extension of sanitary sewer systems to serve future growth. Services will include assessing how to convey peak flows to either the existing Tillamook Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) or potentially to a new remote wet weather facility. Activities also include assisting and evaluating alternatives for improving the existing WWTP. The scope of work includes developing cost estimates and prioritizing projects into a capital improvement plan (CIP). The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time.
