2022 Street & Utility Improvement Project City of Crosby Crosby, MN The work includes the construction of approximately: 4000 Tons Bituminous Pavement 6600 Lin Ft Concrete Curb & Gutter 5100 Cu Yd Aggregate Base Class 5 6500 Sq Ft Concrete Sidewalk 66 Lin Ft 4'x6' Concrete Box Culvert 4300 Lin Ft 6" to 12" Ductile Iron Watermain 1400 Lin Ft 8" to 10" PVC Pipe Sewer 1200 Lin Ft 12" to 15" RC Pipe Sewer together with numerous related items of work, all in accordance with Plans and Specifications. This project is subject to State & Federal Prevailing Wage Rates, Truck Rentals, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Goals, Targeted Group Business Program Goals, and Veteran-Owned Small Business, Equal Employment Opportunity Provisions, American Iron and Steel Provisions, and Responsible Contractor Certification. Phase 1 work shall be substantially completed by October 14, 2022, and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of Section C-700 "General Conditions" of this Project Manual on or before October 28, 2022. Phase 2 work shall be substantially completed by July 1, 2023, and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of Section C-700 "General Conditions" of this Project Manual on or before July 15, 2023. A certified check or proposal bond in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid, drawn in favor of City of Crosby shall accompany each bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract to other than the lowest bidder if, in their discretion, the interest of the Owner would be best served thereby.
