Bids are invited for the installation of Guide Rail along a section of Lockville Road. The work shall include the installation of guide rail, clearing and grubbing, with maintenance and protection of traffic during construction. Prospective bidders are urged to familiarize themselves with the site and review the scope of work and construction documents. Any contractor who does not do so and submits a bid does so at his own risk. Bid proposals must be on the forms provided. Bid Security in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid in accordance with the instructions to bidders. The engineer will be the sole judge on the true intent and meaning ofthe contract documents and drawings during the bidding and construction phases ofthe project.
